IEP 101 & Binder Organization:
Tuesday, September 23, 10am – 12pm
This workshop is for parents who have a student on an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). Our workshop begins with a general overview of IEPs. Learn how to organize your student’s IEP binder as
an effective IEP meeting tool. We’ll provide an IEP binder filled with helpful organizational strategies and resources. This is an in-person meeting at The Arc of Whatcom County, 2602 McLeod Rd., Bellingham. Registration link open in August.
Building Your Special Needs Master Plan:
Tuesday, October 21, 6 – 8pm
Planning for the future, especially around finances and benefits, can become much more complex when you’re caring for someone with a disability. This webinar will give families and caregivers information to start (or refine) a master plan. Presentation by
Mary McDirmid of All Needs Planning. This is a virtual meeting, via Zoom. Registration link open in August.
