The Arc of Whatcom County 2602 McLeod Rd., Bellingham Parents and Caregivers of loved ones with developmental delays, disabilities, and on-going healthcare needs are welcome to join us for coffee (or tea) and a relaxed and friendly chat. Meet other caregivers in our community, find out new resources, and share your thoughts, insights, triumphs and experience.
Adults only please! Light refreshments provided.

June 9, 2025(1 event) 7:00 PM: Virtual Support Meeting – ![]() We may not be therapy, but we sure are therapeutic. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 7 - 8pm. We understand how isolating it can be right now, so we are hold our Parent Support Meetings virtually through Zoom. Grab your favorite beverage, a cozy blanket, and connect with other families - to chat, ask questions, and share resources. Pop in for a few minutes or stay a while. Those who attend will be entered into a drawing for a gift card.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, June 11 to guarantee your child’s spot. Sibshops provide siblings of kids with disabilities with peer support and information in a lively, recreational setting. This Sibshop is drop-off events held at The Arc of Whatcom County, 2602 McLeod Rd., Bellingham. June 17, 2025(1 event) 9:30 AM: Super Sitter Training Camp – Tuesday - Wednesday, June 17-18, 9:30 am – 2:30 pmThursday, June 19, 12:45 - 2:45pm (Sibshop day)The Arc of Whatcom County, 2602 McLeod Rd. BellinghamThis popular class is available for youth ages 13 and older and teaches basic baby-sitting skills along with skills caring for children with disabilities. Participants will gain confidence in caring for children, particularly for children with special needs, and they will also enjoy the learning environment of the camp as they meet new friends, (great summer camp for siblings). This training also includes a day of infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. We recommend participants have some prior baby-sitting experience. Registration forms are due June 13, Fee: $85. 1:00 PM: Cupcake Decorating Sibshop – ![]() Join Parent to Parent for our Cupcake Decorating Sibshop for ages 6 – 12 years old. We will play AWESOME games and eat cupcakes while connecting!
A Sibshop is a FREE fun filled event for brothers and sisters of kids with developmental differences, delays, and on-going health care needs.
